1984 Big Ten

In 1984, this Sports Soda set was created for the Big Ten Conference.  Each of the ten cans features one of the teams' mascots on the front and their 1984 football schedule on the back.  A cardboard display and carrying case were also produced, but I don't have those.

Occasionally one of these sets appears on eBay.  And sometimes they even have the carrying case with them.

During my online research, I found another set of cans released in 1984.  It was called the Big Eight Collection.  * The pictures below are from other websites, I do not have that set.

  2. My aunt has 2 sets of the Big 8 collection in the case. Soda has been drained from the cans. Can you tell me if she wants to sell them what the value would be

  3. I actually have the 1984 Big 10 Pack. It's in good shape, but the cans no longer have soda in them. Do you know if it's worth anything?

  5. As with most cans, they're worth how much someone is worth paying for them. Generally cans aren't worth much unless they are truly rare or hard to find. For reference, there is currently a 1984 Big Eight can set in its case on eBay going for $45 obo. If someone wants it bad enough, they'll pay that. If it's too high, the seller can come down a bit to see if it's worth $35 to anyone. I never sell cans so I wouldn't know what price to start with. eBay auctions or can collecting forums are great places to find current market values on can.
