I moved it aside and kept working. A little while later someone asked if I liked the box they got me. Oh, that's where it came from? They asked if I opened it. Not yet. So I opened it.
Inside was an assortment of cans a couple of my co-workers had collected (well, saved from the trash can) for me.
The motley collection of cans included La Croix tangerine, La Croix berry, Zero Sugar Sunkist orange soda, Zero Sugar Cherry Dr Pepper, the newest Ski can, and Zevia cream soda.
That was awesome, but then I felt bad I hadn't got them anything. I looked in the trash can to find a couple gifts for them but the good stuff had already been fished out.
